Get Set for a Picnic at the Rock Creek Park

One of DC’s most-loved recreational destinations, Rock Creek Park is 2000 acres of forested area cradled amid billion-dollar high-rises and contemporary corridors. On a pleasant day, it is just the place for a day-out or picnic, with a wide array of activities to participate in.

Set out on the 29 miles hiking trail, peddle through the picturesque web of cycling tracks, go horse-back riding, or play a round of golf—there is no dearth of the outdoorsy things you can do here.
